Gohar Harutyunyan (Գոհար Հարությունյան; born August 25, 1979) is an Armenian model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Armenia 1998, Miss CIS 1999 (Commonwealth of Independent States) and Mrs.
Globe 2010[1] attaining first and the only beauty queen acquiring winner title for Armenia in an international beauty competition.
Biography
Gohar Harutyunyan was born in Yerevan, where she spent her childhood.
She aspired to become a painter, studied in the Armenian Pedagogical University, majoring in Arts.
She joined to compete beauty pageant in 1997 where she placed first runner up. Having signed contract with Miss Armenia organization, she represented Armenia in Miss Student of the World 1997 (South Korea), Miss Tourism 1997 (India), and American Dream Girl 1997 (Bahamas).[2]
